Applying her consulting skills and knowledge gained in the business world, she became convinced that a better solution could be found to the resource-draining effects of disability on employers and the U.S. economy. Employees lack knowledge about how the disability system works, their rights and how to rebuild their lives. The lack of knowledge fostered the premises for their book, Persistence is Power: A real-world guide for the newly disabled employee.
