Freedom

I sat today and watched the birds

Fly amongst the clouds

On heavenly winds

And outstretched wings

With a freedom all around

How I wish I could soar

On heavenly winds

And outstretched wings

With out a care in the world

Like the birds in the sky

As I sat and dreamed

Of flying with the birds

On freedom caught

On outstretched wings

With peace all around

Gods face then appeared to me

And I knew that I was loved

For only god can give

The freedom that you seek

Though eternal love and peace

I sat today and watched the birds
